Template:User-multi/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:User-multi (see that page for the template itself).
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This is a very flexible user link template, which allows you to specify which links are shown beside the username. It can be used as a meta-template to support other user link templates, or it can be used alone.

Usage

On a template please use the following syntax:

 |User={{{User|{{{1|}}}}}}
 |1=
 |2=
 |3=
 ...
 |doc=
}}

where the parameters |1=, |2=, |3=, etc. are the codes from the table below which specify which links to display.

The doc parameter is used to provide automatic documentation on the template page, i.e. |doc=yes.

Each option is contained in a separate subtemplate. To add new options, you can add a new subtemplate Template:User-multi/CODE.
