Welsh Highland Light Railway Limited

Welsh Highland Light Railway Limited was registered on the 7 May 1996, Company number 03195265. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Festiniog Railway Company created specifically to build a new 600mm gauge railway between Caernarfon and Rhyd Ddu on the existing formation of the abandoned British Railways standard gauge line as far as Dinas Junction and thence on the formation of the former Welsh Highland Railway to Rhyd Ddu.
