Two Hunslet 2ft 6ins gauge four-wheel 115hp Ford-engined diesel hydraulic 15-ton flameproofed 4wDH locomotives arrived at the WHR(C) Dinas depot on 18 February 2010. They were builder's numbers 9248 and 9262 of 1985, obtained from a scrap dealer, but previously at the Corus Coated Products Division plant at Shotton, where they worked in the Cold Strip Mill. At Shotton steelworks they were numbered 1 and 2 respectively. It was stated that when regauged they would be allocated to Dinas and Boston Lodge as heavy shunters.[1]

The one, with the black radiator, on the left in the second picture, with the No.1 on side has been identified as works No 9248, with an affectionate name of "Bill" on the hood, whilst the red nosed radiator, on the right, has a No. 2 on the side, is works No 9262 with an affectionate name of "Ben" on the hood

The names "Bill" and "Ben" could be a reference to the Rev. W. Awdry's 4-wheeled china clay twins, because of their size and yellow paint.
