There was a subsequent act in 1838 to raise additional funding

Notice was issued via the London Gazette, 20th October 1837, (Iss 19551 p2669):-

Application is intended to be made in the ensuing session, to bring in a Bill to extend, amend, and enlarge the powers and provisions of the previous FR Act of 1832, entitled "An Act for making and maintaining a railway or tramroad from a certain Quay, at Porthmadog, to certain slate quarries, called Rhiwbryfdir and Duffws," and which said railway was authorised by the said Act to be made through, the parishes of Llanfihangel y Traethau, Llanfrothen, Llandecwyn, Festiniog, and Maentwrog —Dated this 17th day of October 1837.
