Bryn Gloch (English: bell hill) lies between Waunfawr station and Plas y Nant halt. There is a large caravan and camping site here. The access road into the site has a new bridge over the railway. There is a public right of way as far as the bridge and also by a path past the waterworks a few hundred yards south, so some consider that it would be eminently practicable to build a halt here if there were a demand for it.
