On this day, the 55th AGM of the FRS was held in Porthmadog

On this day, the train scheduled to stop at Tryfan Junction for over 72 years, occurred. This was a special arranged by the Welsh Highland Heritage Group in connection with the project to restore the station. The 10:00 am Caernarfon departure with 87 in charge, arrived approximately 25 minutes later at Tryfsn Junction. Time was spent socialising and examining the work done to date. The return, again by 87 was by the 1:53 back to Caernarfon.
