F&WHR model railways

The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways are popular subjects of model railways. This page lists some prominent layouts that have appeared on the exhibition circuit or in the model railway press. There are a number of manufacturers producing kits or ready to run models of F&WHR prototypes. These are also listed on this page.3

Plas Halt[edit]

Built by John Potter (now in the ownership of Colin Lea) depicts the well known halt on the Ffestiniog Railway between Penrhyn and Tan y Bwlch in 009 scale
