There has been some genial discussion on the e-group as to the make up of this train. So, quoting from those emails, the Heritage Group Chronology, and FRM

Reading back from locomotive Merddin Emrys

Carriage 11, now and was Van 4 - has forward windows that are missing on C12/V5

Carriage 14 - notable because of height - in service from March 63 (FRM-021)

Carriage 17 Bowsider - re Tim Maynard/John Dobson

Carriage 18 Bowsider - re Tim Maynard/John Dobson

Carriage 20 Bowsider - re Tim Maynard/John Dobson who related how Allan Garraway liked to have carriages in some numeric order

Carriage 15 Bowsider - re Tim Maynard/John Dobson

Carriage 23/26 WHR, with Tim preferring 23, which didnt get full height doors until 1966

Carriage 12, now and was Van 5 - doesnt have forward windows (not that you can see here!) that are on C11/V4.

Carriage 22 - there is a definite bow in the body - only slight on this pix at this distance - there are other pictures around same time that shows it more distinctly.

Carriage 23/26 WHR, with Tim preferring 26, which didnt get full height doors until 1965

For clarity sake there were no Centenary vehicles in existence until 1964 There are no bug boxes or Quarrymans in view
Carriage 16 rebuild wasnt completed until 1969/70
Carriage 19 - this wasnt available until shortly after picture taken

Thanks to Tim Maynard, John Dobson, Martin Cowgill, Stewart Macfarlane for contributions, and of course Ron Fisher for taking the photo some 44 years ago!!
