The narrow gauge (3' 6") Queensland Railways had sharp 5 chain (330ft) curves and some of its 4-wheeled wagons had flexible "Grover's" bogies. Are these similar to the Cleminson patent? FarleyBrook (talk) 12:39, 25 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

 It's more or less the same idea applied to a 2 axle vehicle rather than a 3 axle one. I'm not sure what it was trying to solve though, as 5 chain radius isn't that sharp by any standards, and it doesn't help with the axle loading (the articulation adds overall weight rather than reduces it). The general consensus (citation required!) seems to be that bogies are a better solution to the problem. Edward Harris (talk) 11:41, 27 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
