This page would benefit from a TOC limited to showing two levels only. This can be achieved on the big wiki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:TOC_limit), but seemingly not here. Is it possible to add this feature here? Eheaps (talk) 21:43, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Not convinced TOC limited is necessary here. The page is not that large is using the links in the index will get you to the appropriate year. --Stewart (talk) 21:48, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I felt that the TOC itself was ridiculously long. In my opinion it only really needs individual years in it, not every season as well. Eheaps (talk) 21:51, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
What does Peter Harrison think? He wrote the Festipedia software. --Stewart (talk) 21:57, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
We moved to MediaWiki, the software used by Wikipedia, several years ago. If it works on Wikipedia it will work here too. In this particular case the stylesheet support needed is already in place. All you have to do is copy the template TOC_limit from Wikipedia to Festipedia - simply view the source on Wikipedia, copy it then create a template of the same name on Festipedia and paste the source. Ideally you should copy the template documentation as well but that will need some editing to remove references to templates and categories that don't exist on Festipedia. As for whether or not we should use this template, I have no strong views either way. --Peter Harrison (talk) 22:35, 13 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I've made the change to a reduced level TOC. The beauty of the software is we can change it back if we decide it isn't right. Personally I think it's easier to find the information your looking for now, particularly as the TOC now fits easily onto the screen in its entirety.Eheaps (talk) 12:38, 14 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Carriage 113[edit]

Eheaps, has carriage 113 been transferred back to the FR? I presume it has been displaced by 2047. RedDragon (Send me a telegram) 08:27, 6 April 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

That's my understanding. I believe it has entered Boston lodge for a spruce up before joining one of the FR sets later in the year. Eheaps (talk) 10:28, 6 April 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

2020[edit]

Is not the WHR's No 24 likely to be used on the FR in the compartment stock formations? MarkTemple (talk) 17:59, 11 July 2020 (UTC)+Reply[reply]

The list given here is based on a draft of the working timetable that was sent out to volunteers. As stated the information is not final and will be updated when more is known. Ed - Eheaps (talk) 18:55, 11 July 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
