Festiniog Railway Calendars

From Festipedia, hosted by the FR Heritage Group

The FR published a series of calendars. It would be good to know the dates of the first and the last of these. Illustrations of a selection are shown below. From 1961 to 1976, the calendars were conventional in style, printed on art paper, sometimes double sided, and mostly spiral-bound at the top. In 1976 and 1977, the calendars were smaller and each month's photo could be used as a postcard. The month's calendar details were to be found on a lower section of each sheet, divided from the photo by a perforation. 1978 saw a further deterioration of what was on offer with a cheaper product that was not really a purpose-designed calendar at all.
