Carriage 118 is an all third saloon carriage in the Super Barn series.

History[edit]

Like 119 and 117 before it, 118 is built to the second version of the superbarn design with large panoramic windows aligned with the seating bays. It was completed during 2016 when it went on a publicity tour. Returning from the tour it was placed on the bogies from the old 118 which had been withdrawn at the end of the 2016 season.

118 entered service on the afternoon of Friday 28th of April 2017, the first day of the May bank holiday Quirks and Curiosities II event. Its first outing was as part of a special train for the sponsor.
